About the Showcases
This year, Texas Burlesque Fest will showcase performers only on Saturday night.
Traditionally, performance slots are filled on a first come first serve basis. 2022 will feature performers who had originally been slated to perform in 2020, and who are able and willing to perform in this year’s event. In the past, performers would be eligible for honors such as Audience Choice, Best Soloist, Best Ensemble, etc.. but this year there will be no competition: just a joyous celebration of returning to the stage for live performances!
Currently, the event will be a 100% capacity event with guests strongly encouraged to wear masks and possibly show proof of a negative covid test or proof of vaccination/booster. Full policy will be posted as date of event nears and will be based on current safety stage of the City of Austin. The venue will be disinfecting all surfaces and hand sanitizer will be available.
